today i was sunbathing at golden gardens and i realized how much i love seattle...ESPECIALLY summers in seattle. here's a few reasons why sum. in seattle is so near and dear to my heart:
-it gets hot but not TOO hot...unless you count last summer (global warming is a big joke buttttttttttttt if anything would have convinced me it would be last summer)
-we happen to be surrounded by water so you can go swimming...hmm i dont know? EVERY DAY
-we also happen to be surrounded by trees so you can go camping...hmm i dont know? EVERY DAY
-bbq at golden gardens
-fireworks for the 4th at gasworks
-there are SO many free outside concerts
-there are trails to EVERYTHING so you can bike everywhere (not that i do that...but maybe some day)
-friends are back from school+friends are still in town from college=blending perfection
-you can make impromptu trips to leavenworth (which is a gem all in itself)
-fremont $5 outside theater
-fremont zombie fest AKA total freak show AKA i love fremont
-zootunes
-mariner's games
-BUMBERSHOOT
of course there are 30920934 reasons why summers in seattle are best. help me add to the list.
